Did Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine, sing the Russian national anthem as seen in a TikTok video? No, that's not true: The video has been edited. In the original footage from November 2022, Zelenskyy can be seen and heard singing the Ukrainian national anthem in newly liberated Kherson.
The claim appeared in a video (archived here) on TikTok where it was published by @pekarovajemrdka on June 27, 2023.

In early March 2022, Russia seized control of the city of Kherson and declared the annexation of the entire Kherson region. During the initial weeks of November 2022, Russia withdrew from Kherson, allowing Ukrainian forces to retake control of the city.
According to the presidential website of Ukraine, Zelenskyy visited Kherson on November 14, 2022, where he met with those who had contributed to the city's liberation and took part in the ceremonial raising of the Ukrainian national flag in the central square.
Numerous news agencies have reported on the event and shared the unedited, original video.
